yep, in line with my ability to come up with new ways to punish my body, im headed back out on the road at the end of may, headed to my fav spot….nanaimo. cant wait to make that sweet 75$. and 30% off my first 3 beers. anyway im doing a bunch of festivals and playing rad shows with my pals in awesome band Ketamines. then im headed back east to do a couple other festival shows over the summer. also working on some new material. no seriously.

the new record ” Hi Dudes!” is out now, you can get it on the internet (Zunior.ca or Itunes), from Mammoth Cave Records, from the trunk of mothers minivan, or from one of these stores (Dr Disc (hamilton), Soundscapes (toronto) and Bluestreak Records (peterborough). You can also ask your local record store to order it for you. It has gotten some decent reviews and i think its pretty swell myself.
Death Tour take whatever is set to begin. im basically playing everywhere. so if you dont see your town listed (vancouver-victoria) dont worry ill be there in june. and then it looks like im doing a couple festivals this summer. well hopefully.

yep. yep. yep. new album Hi Dudes!! is out on Feb 23. its available on vinyl, cassette and compact disc. as well its out on itunes and zunior.ca. its also the first album that can be ordered in stores so ask your local record dealer to get it in. If you want to order it in advance or whatever talk to the good people who are putting it out mammoth cave records. i am also going to be touring the record everywhere starting in march. ill be touring all summer so chances are good i am playing wherever your cardboard box is located.

So the Minivan Rollin tour ended with a bang, and awesome sold out show in Ottawa. Thanks to everyone that came out, played with me, gave me booze and atari games, shotgunned beers in alleys with me, and let me sleep on their moldy couches. i owe you one. New album is done, and is being sent off to the presses, release date is Feb 23. Tour to follow. it will be available this time with some kind of distro so you can actually order it from stores i think. wowza. I got some tourdates for jan, doing a quick maritime run to celebrate my upcoming 46th birthday. you get old fast kids. see you around the woodpile,

Got back from the west a week or so ago, thanks to everyone that came out to the shows and let me stay on their couches and bought me drinks. in many ways west is best, except the crowsnest pass, that can suck it. I finally received my 7 inch record with the Moby Dicks, if you want one send me a message and i can send one out, 7$ postage paid. Ive got a few shows left in Ontario for Nov and then 3 Xmas shows. New Album is abut 80% done, should be out late feb on mammoth cave records, cd, vinyl and cassette release. It called ” Hi Dudes!”. pretty excited for it. Im also almost done booking an east coast birthday tour in jan, if anyone wants to do a BA House show in Saint John NB, im game.

Well the east coast tour has ended, just spent 15 straight hours in a toyota previa minivan with the pinecones to get back home. to welcome me back mother had prepared some campbells soup. its nice to eat a name brand product again. thanks a ton to mathias, matt charlton and the cast of friends cornerbrook nfld. for putting us up and putting up with us. id also like to thank everyone for the jager and kind words. im also super sorry i played like dog balls in sackville, im trying to come back and make it up to you.
45 single with the moby dicks is available on my west coast tour after winnipeg. it sounds and looks dope as hell. new album is 4 songs away from being done and should be released in late feb.
if anyone out west wants to bring me atari games or a VHS copy of the film fright night, i would be in your debt,

Mother gave me some cash for doing some shit around the house and driving her around town on her errands so I was able to afford this spanking new website. pretty rad eh? Here you can find tour dates, show info and insights into the mind of me, BA Johnston. Wowza. Also upcoming news and crud. As of now i aint doing much. Mostly playing playstation 2 and eating. but i have started recording a new record, and plan on releasing a 7″ this fall with old buds the Moby Dicks backing me up.
